In China Story, traditional chinese handcraft meets scandinavian minimalistic design. Handmade chinese ornaments, classical patterns and elements all chosen with care as the traditional pankao (chinese button) and details from the Qipao dress are all presented in a timeless and unique way which characterises the SOFIFI brand. 

The inspiration comes from contrasts.  Contrasts between the east and the west, the past and the present, the dramatic and the ingenuous, the expressive and moderate, the sensual and the innocent.

In China Story these contrasts are realized by careful choice of material, hand made details and top of the art tailor made items. Exciting meetings between fabrics such as silk, leather, jade and metal in combination with feminine silhouettes and sculpural cuts brings life and charachter to the designs. China Story is not only about contrasts. It also expresses balance. As in Yin and Yang. The balance between diffrent unitys is framing the collection in a harmonic yet spectacular way.
